Crafting Memory Through Architecture
Architecture holds the power to evoke, preserve, and even restore memory. For individuals experiencing cognitive decline, the built environment can become a tool of reconnection—a spatial prompt for remembering. Through materiality, sensory engagement, and familiar forms, architecture can ground people in the present while gently drawing them toward the past.

In my work, I explore how traditional crafts like straw weaving can become both therapeutic practice and architectural expression. Tactile materials, natural textures, and participatory spaces not only stimulate the senses but also foster emotional comfort and identity. Architecture becomes more than shelter—it becomes a vessel for memory, culture, and healing.

By designing with care, context, and community in mind, I aim to create spaces that do more than function: they remember, they reflect, and they restore.
